NDC warns public against imposters

The ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) has cautioned the public against phony characters who pose as senior members of the party and have succeeded in defrauding persons in the country under various guises.

In a release signed by its chief scribe Johnson Asiedu Nketia, its states; the modus operandi of these fraudsters is to use the names of members of the executive committee of the party and other varied means including social media to dupe members of the public of their monies and other valuables.

The NDC wishes to distance itself from all such dastardly acts and advises the public to immediately report to the police, any such conduct, act or persons purporting to be acting on behalf of any such senior member of the party with the view to making personal gains by way of money, favour or otherwise”.

The public has accordingly been advised to demand prove of such persons before dealing with them.
