Bechem Police hunt murder suspect

Bechem (B/A), Oct. 23, GNA – The Police at Bechem in Brong Ahafo are looking for one Kwame Dagarti, 18, who is alleged to have slashed the throat of a five-year-old boy and taken away some parts of his body. The body of Master Kwasi Addo was found in a cottage near river Jofo at Bechem with his tongue and three fingers of the left hand missing.

A source told Ghana News Agency that the alleged murderer, also a resident of the cottage, lured the deceased to accompany him to the bush to feast on a fowl he was holding.

The source said Dagarti took advantage of the absence of the deceased’s father who had gone to the Government Hospital at Bechem to see his wife who had delivered the day before.

The body of the deceased has been deposited at Bechem government hospital mortuary for autopsy.
