Nursing graduates to besiege MoH over postings

About one thousand nursing graduates have vowed to besiege the Health Ministry today as they protest delays in their posting.

According to them, several petitions to the ministry over the matter have not yielded any positive results.

The Vice President of the Greater Accra Nursing and Midwifery Association, Bernard Nii Tetteh speaking to Starr News said their postings have been long overdue.

Tetteh added that government must be clear with them exactly when they will be posted.

“Government has not been clear on this issue and anytime we contact them, they will tell us to give them time and we don’t know the actual month that we will be posted and it is a worry.

“We will be there [Health Ministry] for them to clarify to us the exact month that we will be posted…but we pray that our demands are met by government.”
