Kwabre District first round polio immunisation to start on Friday

Mampongteng (Ash), Oct 20, GNA – The first round of the Polio Immunisation Exercise for the year in the Kwabre District starts from Friday October 24 to Sunday, October 26 in all the communities. All children aged up to five years would be given the polio vaccination irrespective of their immunisation status.

A statement issued at Mamponteng on Monday and signed by Madam Letitia Ayeh-Diabene, District Director of Health Services, said the vaccinators would move from house-to-house to vaccinate the children. She appealed to traditional rulers, assembly members, unit committees, Pastors and Imams to keep their people informed before and during the exercise to make it a success.
