Ayariga wants government contracts reviewed

The flagbearer of the All Peoples Congress (APC), is calling for a review of all government contracts with business entities.

Hassan Ayariga, who was People’s National Convention presidential candidate in the 2012 elections, was speaking the APC’s congress in Accra Monday.

According to him, Ghana has all it takes to become an industrialized country.

“We need to take a second look at our laws. Should we change, amend or review our laws or regulations in relation to the Royalties we get from our natural resources with the foreign companies? ….

We need to review contracts whose present status is inimical to our current situation…we have all it takes to be successful! We are able and we can make it.” He further called on the youth to help the APC move Ghanaians forward.

“A new wind has started blowing; something completely new is emerging….. We are thus calling on particularly the youth to come on board to help bring the needed change to Ghana.”

Hassan Ayariga who is the founder of APC was acclaimed as the party’s presidential candidate for the 2016 general elections. The event was held at the Accra International Conference centre.
