NPP embarks on ‘Donate for Change’ tour

The opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) has lined up a nationwide campaign to solicit funds for its 2016 campaign. Dubbed ‘Donate for Change’, the tour will take two weeks.

It will begin on Tuesday, June 14 in the Greater Accra Region. “The party’s scratch cards will be on sale during the tour,” a statement issued by National Treasurer Kwabena Abankwa Yeboah said.

The tour is expected to reach markets and some principal streets. In the Greater Accra Region, for instance, the tour will start from the party’s headquarters to Makola, Okaishie and its environs and then, on Wednesday, move to Abossey Okai and Kaneshie markets.

“We urge Ghanaians to donate towards the NPP’s 2016 election campaign to save the nation from the corrupt and incompetent Mahama led administration.”
