A 40-year-old farmer, Afia Konadu is currently in the grips of the police after attempts to use her four year old son [name withheld] foiled.
The suspect allegedly connived with her fiancee who is currently at large to embark on their audacious adventure.
Afia Konadu and her accomplice were asked by a priest to present the victim who is mentally challenged to used for the money rituals.
The suspects who were bent on making money reportedly sent the victim to the shrine of the priest so he used for the ritual purpose.
Luck, however, eluded them as a neighbour who had monitored the suspects and what they had embarked on alerted the police who later stormed the shrine of the priest to arrest the suspect, Afia Konadu.
Narrating the incident to Nyankonton Mu Nsem from Ashanti Region, Abdul Malik Anokye said the victim at the time he was rescued was unconscious.
