DSP John Yeboah, the Kwabeng District Police Commander, disclosed that his outfit rushed to the scene immediately they were notified but the two had died moments before their arrival.

“Their corpses have been deposited at the Kibi Government Hospital for autopsy to ascertain the exact cause of their death while investigation is underway,” He revealed.

The police chief advised parents to encourage their wards to pursue education rather than engage in illegal mining activities.
