Dawn fire outbreak kills Nigerian resident at Alajo

A fire outbreak on Thursday dawn has claimed the life of a Nigerian National at Alajo in Accra.

The deceased believed to be in his late 30’s according to eyewitness account to Top Fm, was said to be sleeping at an adjoining room to a drinking spot where the fire started.

The fire service and the Ghana Fire service were said to have quickly moved to the scene to douse the fire after it has burnt the deceased beyond recognition.

The Member of Parliament for the area, Hon Henry Quartey and the Assemblyman for the area were at the scene to access the extent of damage.

The body of the deceased has since been taken away by the police to the mortuary .
