Concrete block falls and kills 19-year-old man

A teenage boy, resident in New Takoradi in the Western Region met his untimely death on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 when a concrete block fell off the roof of his room and hit him on the head while alseep.

The 19 year old who was at the time of the incident sleeping with his mother and two other siblings was immediately rushed to the Takoradi Hospital where he died few minutes after arrival.

Daniel Quashie, also known as Tadi Pozo, elder brother of the deceased in an interview stated that one other sibling who sustained some injuries on the face has been treated and discharged at the same Health Facility

The body of the decease has since been deposited at the Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital Mortuary for autopsy.

The incident has left the mother of the deceased traumatized.
