Nunoo-Mensah to study law at 77

Head of Human Security at the Presidency Brigadier-General (rtd) Joseph Nunoo-Mensah has expressed desire to study law.

The septuagenarian says not even his age will stop him from acquiring further knowledge to become a lawyer.

Speaking on Onua FM’s Y3n S3mpa on Wednesday, June 1, the former Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) said studying law will help him in his fight against oppression of the poor and less-privileged in the country.

According to him, Ghana needs committed citizens to progress.

The retired army officer has engaged in philanthropic endeavours including the building of primary and senior high schools. He aided in the erection of the new O’Reilly SHS and Nsaba Presby SHS.

The Security Advisor to the late Professor John Evans Atta Mills says his law studies will highly likely take place in the United Kingdom, where he will travel to soon to meet fellow septuagenarians.

Brigadier-General Nunoo-Mensah, 77, condemned persons with the mindset of making money in politics.

“Then, you are in the wrong job. You are better off being an armed robber.”

Politics is about helping the less-privileged, he insisted.
