Police to embark on identification parade in Kumasi

The Ashanti Regional Police Command will embark on an identification parade tomorrow Tuesday at 12:pm to give opportunity to victims of robberies and other violent crimes to identify their assailants for fast track investigations and prosecution.

The Regional Command in a swoop at some areas in the Kumasi metropolis noted for criminal hideouts such as Aboabo, Akwatialine, Asafo BB, Krofrom, Race-course, Bantama, Kaase, Atonsu and others arrested a number of suspected criminals.

The suspects were arrested for involving in various crimes perpetrated in the metropolis and the Region at large.

According to a press statement issued and signed by the Deputy Public Relations Officer (PRO) Inspector Godwin Ahianyo for Assistant Superintendent, it urged crime victims to visit the Police Headquarters opposite Bank of Ghana (BoG), Adum to assist the police in the identification.
