A video has gone viral over the Internet after a man was filmed being publicly flogged for allegedly being involved in an affair with a married woman.
According to the UK Metro, the man had been accused of adultery and had subsequently faced the wrath of his community by being publicly beaten with sticks.
The video shows the man lying face down while he is being beaten by another man.
After the suspect attempts to escape, he is stopped and beaten further to the ground during the harsh punishment, Pulse reports.
The origin of the video has yet to be distinguished, although some have suggested that the footage may have been filmed in Ghana due to the language being spoken.
