The Ahafo-Ano South District Assembly has voted 20 million cedis for the preparation of a lay-out for the District headquarters of Mankranso. The Building and Road Research Institute (BRRI) has been commissioned to prepare the lay-out for the town. Mr. K. B. Asomaning, District Chief Executive told the GNA at Mankranso, that measures have been taken by the Assembly to enhance the proper development of communities in the district. More funds will be allocated for the next phase of the Mankranso planning scheme to ensure its completion by early next year. Mr. Asomaning said some selected towns will also be given decent plans. The DCE regretted that out of the over 200 towns and villages in the district, only about five could boast of a lay-out.
