Motorbike riders crushed to death on Kwahu-Adowso road

Two motorbike riders have perished in an accident that occurred on Saturday evening.

The deceased, Kwasi Eric, 24, and Tetteh died in the accident that happened around 7:20pm at Kwahu -Adowso in the Eastern region.

According to an eye witness, the two riders were speeding with no lights on their motor bikes and were without helmets.

He narrated that, Eric was moving from Kwahu -Adowso to Nkyenkyire town while Tetteh was also from the opposite direction of Nkyenkyire to Kwahu Adowso when they collided.

He added that Tetteh died on the spot while Eric was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.

However, two passengers onboard the motorbikes survived but sustained serious injuries hence receiving treatment at Kwahu Tafo hospital.

The bodies of the deceased have been deposited at the hospital morgue.
