We’ll produce new drinking bottles – Kofi Akpaloo

The Flag bearer of Independent Peoples Party (IPP) Percival Kofi Akpaloo has stated that if given the nod to rule Ghana in the upcoming November general elections, he will collaborate with the various bottling companies to produce new bottles by crashing the old ones.

This he believes will create thousands of jobs for the youth in the country thereby eradicating graduate unemployment in the country.

According to him, the culture where customers of the bottling companies, such as Guinness Ghana Limited, Accra Brewery, Coca-Cola bottling company and others carry empty bottles when purchasing new ones will be a thing of the past when voted into power.

“Let’s take bottles, every day when you want to drink beer you have to carry empty bottles along to get the new beer in it, under IPP we are not going to allow that, every bottle that has been used will not be re-used.
Because you have to produce new bottles and producing new bottles, you are creating jobs,”he explained.

Speaking on Ultimate Fact File hosted by Julius Caesar Anadem, he indicated that it’s worrying to see insects moving in drinks.

He observed that consumers of these bottling companies lose their appetites when they see insects moving in the drink bought with their hard earned monies.

‘We will recycle the old bottles by smashing them for hygienic sake, if you buy a beer, Guinness or Star and you see some cockroaches in it how will you feel?, you will not be happy seeing some particles moving in,’ he stated.

He assured that he will give monies to graduates who are seeking jobs to start their own businesses.

‘If anybody wants to work, we will create system for you, unless you don’t want to work,’ he said.
