Asuofua JSS records 100 percent passes in BECE

Asuofua (Ash), Oct 9, GNA – The Asuofua Local Authority Junior Secondary School (JSS) in the Atwima District recorded 100 percent passes in this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).

The school presented 169 candidates out of whom 29 scored aggregate six, 19 scored aggregate seven and 22 got aggregate eight. Mr Jones Arthur, the Head teacher, told the GNA in an interview that the school’s impressive performance was due to the dedication, commitment and hard work of the teachers.

Mr Arthur said there has been a healthy relationship between the management of the school and the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) and this enhanced teaching and learning. 08 Oct 03
