Latter-Day Saints Church donates to Asamankese hospital

Asamankese (E/R), Oct 7, GNA – The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has donated medical items worth 54 million cedis to the Asamankese Government Hospital.

They include surgical instruments, stethoscopes, diagnostic sets, infusion sets, casting materials, gloves, circuits, bed sheets, uniforms and bandages.

Presenting the items, Mr Clarence Baah-Kofi, Assistant to the Country Director of the church said the church placed priority on promoting health and education.

Receiving the items Ms Adelaide Sabbah, Principal Nursing Officer, expressed the hospital’s appreciation to the Church for the donation.
