I don’t have a tribal agenda – Akufo-Addo

The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party Nana Akufo-Addo has told residents of the Volta region to bestow trust in him and vote for him because he does not have a tribal agenda in his quest to become President of Ghana.

According to him, the claim by his political opponents that he and the NPP have a tribal agenda against the Volta region is “vile” and a “wicked” lie.

Nana Addo who is on a 4-day campaign tour of the southern part of the region told residents of Anlo on Thursday to have faith in him and the NPP to deliver massive development when voted into power in the November polls.

“Trust me and help me come into office, and as we get there, we will put the economy back on track and create jobs for the youth of this country,” he appealed to traders at the Anloga market.

He added: “The NPP and I do not have any tribal agenda, what we have is a national agenda to restored hope in the economy and make life bearable for every Ghanaian.”

Accompanying him on the tour are regional executives of the NPP and party functionaries from the national secretariat.
