NPP disowns ‘goro boy’ Baah Acheamfour

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has said its critic, Baah Acheamfour, is not a member of the party.

Baah Acheamfour, who is also the convener of a group known as Save NPP Now, at a news conference on Monday May 16, accused Nana Akufo-Addo, flagbearer of the NPP, of being the cause of the party’s dwindling electoral fortunes.

But speaking to Class News, Deputy General Secretary of the NPP, Nana Obiri Boahene said Mr Acheamfuor is not a member of the party

“I will not say the man Baah Acheamfuor claims to be a member of the NPP, he is not a member of the New Patriot Party”, he insisted.

“He used to be a ‘goro boy’ for our suspended chairman Paul Afoko …he has never been a member of the New Patriotic Party. There is no group in NPP called Save NPP Now” he emphasised.
