Veep receives the Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago

Accra, May 8 GNA- The Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, Dr Keith Christopher Rowley has arrived in Accra for a four-day state visit to the country.
He was received by Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur at the VVIP lounge of the Kotoka International Airport.
Dr Keith Rowley was accompanied by government officials and Chairmen of the Trinidad Oil and Gas companies.
He is also expected to hold talks with President John Dramani Mahama at the Flagstaff House after which the two leaders would hold a joint news conference.
Besides, there would be a state dinner in honour for Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley and his delegation.
Speaking to journalists later after his arrival, Dr Keith Rowley stated that the time has come for Ghana and Trinidad and Tobago to cooperate for the mutual benefit of the two countries.
He explained that Trinidad and Tobago haven gained expertise in areas such as energy, education among others and Ghana requiring to expand into these areas when the two nations cooperate together they can handle these development initiatives effectively.
