Dan Botwe robbed at gunpoint

The Member of Parliament for Okere in the Eastern region Dan Botwe was on Friday dawn robbed at gunpoint in his Tema residence, StarrFMonline.com has learnt.

The former general secretary of the NPP was reportedly held hostage for about 45minutes by the bandits.

The security man at his house is currently being held by the Police as investigations commence into the attack.

Laptops, mobile phones and an undisclosed amount of money was stolen by the robbers.

The attack comes on the back of the killing of the Abuakwa North MP Joseph Boakye Danquah by an alleged thief in February this year.
