“Jesus Society” donates to Ankaful Psychiatric Hospital

Ankaful (C/R), Sept. 29, GNA- Members of “Saint Theresa of the Child Jesus Society”, of the Cape Coast Roman Catholic Church on Sunday presented relief items to the inmates of Ankaful Psychiatric Hospital at Ankaful in the Central Region.

The items included used clothing, footwear, fruits, bread and cartons of soap worth five million cedis.

Mrs Mary Mensah-Otoo, president of the group who made the presentation said it was the society’s contribution towards the upkeep of the inmates.

Mrs Cecilia Nartey, acting Deputy Director of Nursing Services at the hospital, thanked the society for its gesture and hoped other societies would emulate.
