A 35 year-old man has allegedly stabbed his wife at Atobiase in the Western region after accusing her of stealing his Ghc50.
The suspect Kweku Attah who is currently on the run, according to reports accused the wife of infidelity and suspected that the victim , Cecilia Ama Dapaah stole the money for her boyfriend.
Kweku Attah is said to have cautioned the wife to desist from her adulterous character or face his wrath.
The suspect reportedly stabbed the wife with a knife and took to his heels after he realized she was unconscious.
The victim is currently on admission at the hospital. Some aggrieved youth in the area have mounted a search for the suspect to hand him over to the police for the law to deal with him.
