BNI arrests NPP Youth Organizer over G3 riffles threat

Officials of the Bureau of National Investigations (BNI) have arrested the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Upper West Regional Youth Organizer Mustafa Guove over his recent comments of threats to brandish G3 riffles if provoked by the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) ultimate1069.com can exclusively report.

Mustapha Guove on Wa-based W93.5fm said NPP members were prepared to face-off with their political opponents ahead of the November 7 polls if the NDC leadership failed to halt their members from insulting the party’s flagbearer Nana Akufo Addo

Reports received by Ultimate1069.com, suggest personnel of the BNI picked up the Youth Organizer on Monday afternoon and whisked him away in a nissan patrol vehicle followed by a double cabin pick up straight to his residence at Kabanye a suburb of the Wa Municipality where a search is currently being conducted.

As at press time, the search was still ongoing to establish if he has weapons in his possession for which reason he made those comments.

On Wake up Upper West on W93.5fm, he was quoted as saying; “Read my lips I swear God!!! In this year’s elections we are fully prepared and ready for battle”, he said

According to him anyone one who verbally attacks the flagbearer of the NPP Nana Akufo Addo will have his entire household insulted without mercy as a payback.

“Anyone who insults or verbally attacks our presidential candidate, Nana Addo… we shall insult the person’s father and his/her whole generation from head to toe. I’m telling you “we are ready for the worse”, he disclosed on Wake up Upper West on W93.5fm, a Wa-based radio station.

“If they pull out AK 47, we will come out with G3s. We were so gentle in the last elections and all manner of things went on against our campaign efforts. They insulted our candidate and told a lot of lies against his person. This time around I swear to you that we won’t sit down and watch’, he added.

He indicated that from national to regional levels; they are battle ready to face-off with anyone individual or group of persons who would incur their wrath.

When asked by the host to retract the statements and apologise in view of the fact they were in bad taste he retorted; ‘I won’t retract… I’m saying it on this platform and I’m responsible for what I’m saying, you can quote me any where’
