Police storm St. Mary’s Boys SHS over supper boycott

Final year students of the St Mary’s Boys SHS in Apowa in the Western region are serving punishments for refusing to eat the supper served them on Saturday.

The students, numbering over 500, rejected the meal with the excuse that it was spoilt.

Reports say it took the intervention of the Police to restore calm on the campus as the agitating students took to the streets to protest the spoilt food.

They have subsequently been asked to weed and sweep the campus as punishment for their revolt.

The third year students are the only year group currently on campus because of the ongoing WASSCE.
