Cat bite kills boy, 9

It is not common for a cat to bite humans, however, a bite from this domestic animal can lead to very serious complications.

Children and pregnant women are at the top of the list when it comes to risk of infection from cat bites.

This is exactly the sad story of Yaw Patrick, a 9-year-old boy at Asempayena in the Ashanti region who suffered a cat bite.

The deceased mistakenly stepped on the cat’s head leading to the bizarre incident.

He was rushed to the hospital for treatment and later discharged but the deceased started complaining of body pains while at home.

Abdul Malik who reported the incident to Nyankonton Mu Nsem said, the deceased died few minutes after he was rushed to hospital following complains of body pains.
