Birim South residents angry with gov’t

Six communities in the Birim South have bared their teeth at the government that, they are unable to bare the effects of the poor supply of electricity any longer.

The residents speaking in an interview with our regional correspondent Prince Collins Benning said the affected areas have been plunged into darkness for so many years-and they cannot take it anymore.

According to them, they will soon stage demonstrations to press home their demands until their concerns are addressed.

They have also hinted of boycotting the upcoming November polls if government does not move quickly to address the challenge.

Crime rate they also noted is on the increase because of the situation.
