Only change in gov’t can help save Ghana – Panford

A onetime failed parliamentary aspirant for the Gomoa East constituency on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and a Canadian based business man, Mr. Richard Panford has opined that, it will take only change in government to save Ghana from the current hardship.

According to him, comparing the eight years of NPP’s government to this current NDC government, one will realize that this government is a mess and needs to be changed.

Speaking in an interview with Nyankonton Mu Nsem, the businessman cum-politician noted the current environment under the leadership of President John Dramani Mahama, is making it difficult for businesses to thrive.

He said, it is more frustrating doing business in Ghana now as compared to the NPP’s era. He noted, investors have lost hope investing in the country because of the problems and stress they have to encounter.

Mr. Richard Panford indicated that importers are currently undergoing very serious difficulties as a result of the astronomical import duties they have to pay before they are handed over their imports. He admonished Ghanaians to vote for change and make sure they vote for Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo-so he deliver to them a first class form of governance.
