Kofi Adams jabs Konadu for attacking Mahama

Whereas the former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyemang-Rawlings believes the incompetence of the Mahama led administration is sending Ghana into a ditch – her one-time ally has strongly sought to differ.

The National Organizer of the ruling National Democratic Congress, Kofi Adams is of the view that his former boss’ wife got it all wrong with her claims.

According to the leader and founder of the National Democratic Party (NDP), it is painful and unfortunate that a party (NDC) founded on the tenets of probity, accountability and transparency by her husband and former President, Jerry John Rawlings, is set to run the nation into a ditch.

Addressing supporters of her party at Atimatim at the Efigyei Kwabri South in the Ashanti Region, Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings said – NDC’s corrupt attitude and incompetence is killing Ghanaians, running the economy down and collapsing businesses.

She described government as insensitive for introducing killer taxes to frustrate importers and other business owners – she also urged Ghanaians to vote out the incompetent Mahama led administration and the NDC in the upcoming elections.

But Kofi Adams sharply disputes Nana Konadu’s claims in an interview with NEAT FM’s morning show dubbed ‘Ghana Montie’.

According to him, Ghana, under the leadership of President John Dramani Mahama, has fought against corruption and tried to curb the canker than any previous administration.

He was empathic that major developmental projects across the country by the Mahama-led government cannot send Ghana into a ditch as alleged by the former First Lady.

Kofi Adams however dared Nana Konadu to pinpoint one corrupt practice by the Mahama-led government “They should just mention one example of the corrupt practice. They can’t.”
