NPP government considers the role of women

Abuakwa (Ash), Sept. 18, GNA- The NPP government considers the role of women in nation building as essential hence the creation of Women Ministry to project them.

Mr Thomas Ofori-Donkor, NPP First Vice Chairman for Nwabiagya constituency was addressing NPP Women’s wing in the constituency at Abuakwa on Wednesday.

Mr Donkor advised the women to exhibit a high sense of patriotism and that they should support government policies aimed at projecting their image.

He said: “There is the need to form a united front to struggle for power and development.”

He advised them to curb indiscipline in the society and do a lot to change the negative lifestyle of their children. Miss Linda Osei Yeboah, the Women’s Organiser of the party advised them to do away with false news about the NPP government. She advised her colleagues to be law-abiding, respectful and stay with their partners to avoid getting HIV/AIDS.
