Disregard TB Joshua’s ‘doomsday’ prophecy – Irbard

The “doomsday” prophecy of Nigeria’s T.B. Joshua must be dismissed, security analyst Irbard Ibrahim has said.

Ghana and Nigeria, according to the prophet are in line for a terrorist attack.

“I am seeing Thursday, Friday, Saturday – if I may say Thursday – because these evil people they are very funny. Anything can just happen. You will be very shocked to see what will happen, because when the prayer is going in this direction they [attackers] change [to another] direction,” Prophet Joshua told his church on Sunday April 10.

“I see Thursday, Friday. Pray for these two nations – Nigeria and Ghana – over gathering in any way, over attack. I am seeing attack and that will be in a foreign way. The attack will come not in a local way. So please open your lips and pray for these two nations for protection.”

He, however, pointed out that the attack would “not necessarily” be “this week, because it is a battle between the evil spirit and the Holy Spirit”.

Ghana’s western and northern neighbours Ivory Coast and Burkina Faso have suffered terror attacks in the past few months. Those attacks followed a similar one in Mali. Mostly hotels were attacked.

However, Sheikh Ibrahim says “even though sub-Saharan governments should show deference and reference to men of God, it will be misplaced to place security matters on the laps of clergy men.”

“Security is about pragmatic and diligent intelligence gathering and has nothing to do with the Church or Mosque. Our nations should keep praying, but should take pragmatic security precautionary measures to keep Ghana and West Africa safe,” he told Class FM.
