Madina e-library project nears completion

The Madina electronic library project, being undertaken by Hallowed Temple International, had reached the roofing stage and would be ready for use by the end of the year.

Reverend Carl Abode Spencer, the General Overseer of Hallowed Temple International, disclosed this at the unveiling of a new name of the church at Madina in Accra.

The church, which is now called UpCity Church International, has also a new logo which depicts three stars lying on a shield.

Rev. Spencer said the construction of the library was the contribution of the church towards educational development in the community.

He said plans were far advanced for the church to also put up a hospital to cater for the health needs of the poor and the needy.

Rev. Spencer called on other religious leaders to use the pulpit to preach peace ahead of election 2016.

Rev. Dr Robert Ampiah-Kwofie, the General Overseer of Global Revival Ministries, urged Christians to open a new chapter by refraining from acts which hindered national development.

He urged the leadership of the church to work harder than before to win more souls for Christ.
