Upper West NDC begins outreach programme

The ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) party has embarked on an outreach programme to reach out to party faithful in the 11 constituencies of the Upper West Region.

A 7 member national team led by the Deputy National Organizer Mahdi Jibril is currently in the region partnering with the regional leadership of the party on this exercise.

Speaking to Ultimate News’ Musah Lansah in Wa, Nicodemus NBD Dery, the Regional Youth Organizer said the exercise is to re-energize the party folks ahead of November general elections.

According to him, aside from telling the achievements of NDC to the electorate, the team will educate them on the limited registration exercise which is slated for this month April, 2016.

He disclosed that, the exercise will also be an eye opener to the electorate, where they will be educated that elections are won at the branch level.
He assured that scores will be settled in the various constituencies where scuffles ensued during presidential and parliamentary primaries.

This, Mr. Dery said will help the party reconcile people who had differences to ensure the party wins all 11 seats in the region.
