Bawumia’s 10 point plan is a big joke – Apaak

Presidential staffer, Dr Clement Apaak, has described Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia’s 10-point plan for job creation as a big joke.

Dr. Bawumia laid out the plan during a Lecture on the topic; ‘High Graduate Unemployment and the Employment Embargo, What is the Solution’ to students of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) during a Public Lecture organized by the Economics Students Association of the university on Tuesday.

However, in a response on his Facebook page, Dr Apaak said the so-called 10 point development plan had no substance .

Alert:

I just had a chance to look over the so-called 10 pt plan Dr. Bawumia has proposed to solve unemployment.

What a big joke. First of all nothing he has said is new.

Secondly every single point/policy he has suggested is already being implemented or has been considered as part of a mosaic of polices to deal with unemployment.

The last and most embarrassing point he makes is what he called banking the unbanked.

To think that he was a Deputy Governor of the Central Bank and could not use that position to cause the unbanked to be banked is an indication of personal failure.

If he couldn’t bring his knowledge and influence to bare then, he surly can not do it now. All in all, he had nothing to say and said nothing new or innovative.
