NGO presents medical supplies to Tanyigbe Health Post

Dantex West Africa Foundation, a non-governmental, organisation, on Monday, presented medical supplies to the Tanyigbe Health Post.

The supplies, including blood collection tubes, “sharp collectors,” injection needles, and disinfecting wipes were estimated at GH¢ 45,000.

Mr Francis Venunye Dzani, the Director of the Foundation, said the gesture was to mark the Easter activities and help enhance quality healthcare delivery in the farming community.

Ms Enyonam Aborbor, the Health Officer in-charge of the Post, said the items would improve health service to the about 5,020 people from Tanyigbe, Tokokoe and Akoefe who accessed the facility.

Mr Benjamin Kpodo, the Member of Parliament for the area, described the presentation as a “perfect Easter gift”.

Mr Koku Anyidoho, a Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress, who initiated the presentation, assured people in the community of the commitment of the Government to improve infrastructure at the Tanyigbe Senior High School.
