Assemblyman to contest NPP primaries

Twifo Praso (C/R), Sept. 13, GNA – Mr Samuel Agyebi-Kessie, Assemblyman for Praso has declared his intention to contest the NPP primaries for the Twifo-Heman-Lower-Denkyira parliamentary seat in the 2004 elections.

Mr Agyebi-Kessie told the Ghana News Agency at Sefwi-Praso on Friday that he had paid his nomination fee of five million cedis at the party secretariat at Cape Coast.

Mr Agyebi-Kessie, 29, a graduate of the University of Cape Coast said he had good prospects to win the seat and appealed for support, especially from party members.
