People of Dadease appeal for clinic

Manso (B/A), Sept. 13, GNA- Nana Doris Yeboah, Queenmother of Dadease, a suburb of Manso in Nkoranza District in Brong Ahafo on Friday appealed to the District Assembly to provide the community with a clinic to enhance the health needs of the people. Nana Yeboah made the appeal when she interacted with Mr Kwame Ampofo Twumasi, the District Chief Executive about problems facing the people of Manso.

She said the people travel more than 18 kilometres to attend hospital and said the facility if provided will cater for other farming communities.

Nana Yeboah complained of lack of good drinking water in the community and typhoid was prevalent in the area. Mr. Ampofo-Twumasi gave assurance that the Assembly will do its best to assist the people in addressing the problems. He said the community will be provided with boreholes under the District Assembly’s Water and Sanitation Programme.
