Farmers Association launches campaign on Akuafo Cheque system

Kumasi, Sept 12, GNA- The Ghana Cocoa, Coffee and Sheanut Farmers Association (GCCSFA) has launched a national campaign to educate farmers on the benefits of the Akuafo Cheque system with rallies in cocoa growing areas.

This was contained in a press release issued and signed by Nana Erhuma Kpanyinli, president of the association on Friday in Kumasi. It said the campaign will be carried out alongside the sale of farming inputs like insecticides, fungicides, cutlasses and Wellington boots to the farmers.
