A class three pupil at Samlesi Salvation Primary School in the Upper Manya Krobo District of the Eastern region has dropped out of school after being impregnated through alleged defilement by a 22-year-old unemployed, Dennis Tetteh.
The parents of the 12-year-old are currently trailing the suspect responsible for the pregnancy.
Starr News’ Eastern regional Correspondent, Kojo Ansah, reports that, parents of the victim noticed the pregnancy two weeks ago but upon interrogation, the victim accused the suspect as the one responsible for the pregnancy.
The victim claims, the suspect forcibly had sex with her during a funeral in the community.
The parents of the victim have summoned the suspect to appear before the opinion leaders in the village for the matter to be amicably settled.
According to Ansah, the suspect has admitted to having sexual intercourse with the victim but denied responsibility for the pregnancy.
Last year, a teacher was left off the hook at Samlesi Primary Salvation School after he defiled a pupil in a farm.
