Ahafo-Ano North NDC elects parliamentary candidate

Tepa (Ash), Sept. 5, GNA- Mr David Kwame Addai-Amankwaah, 38, a tutor at the Tepa Secondary School, was on Thursday elected unopposed as the National Democratic congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate for the Ahafo-Ano North constituency for the 2004 elections.

He was the only candidate who filed his nomination to contest the primaries.

In an acceptance speech, Mr Addai-Amankwaah appealed to them to rally behind him to win the constituency seat back from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) next year.

Mr Maxwell Addai, the Ahafo-Ano North constituency chairman of the NDC, urged party members to unite and pool their resources to win the support of non-members.
