Support health facilities with your income

The Chairman of Asunafo North Municipal Cocoa Farmers Cooperative Union Nana Sarpong Emmanuel has urged philanthropists, institutions, corporate bodies, churches and individuals to support health facilities in the Brong Ahafo Region with their income.

Mr. Sarpong Emmanuel made these remarks yesterday Wednesday when the farmers donated OPD benches worth GHC10,000 to be distributed to various clinics, health centres, hospitals and CHIPS compound in the municipality.

In an interview with Ultimate1069.com he entreated corporate bodies to augment government’s efforts in solving health related problems in the country.

‘People who have monies should try to donate items to various hospitals to improve health delivery as government cannot do it alone,’ he urged.

The farmers group further supported Asunafo North Ghana Education Service (GES) in their upcoming Teachers’ Awards with an amount of GHC5,000.00 to be given to hardworking teachers in the region on March 6, 2016.
