FONKAR pays courtesy call on Nana Addo

Members of the fan club of Former First Lady Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings have paid a courtesy call on the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

The visit on Wednesday, February 24 was also to commiserate with the NPP over the recent losses of some members within the party.

Speaking on behalf of Friends of Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings (FONKAR), Convener Joseph Bediako bemoaned the turn of events in the country under the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

He, therefore, called on all to speak against some of the ills of society, condemning the manner in which communicators of the NDC respond to their critics.

“The kids in NDC don’t give a damn,” Mr Bediako said, mentioning how the commuicators have spoken despicably against the likes of Pastor Mensa Otabil.

Nana Addo expressed gratitude to FONKAR, underscoring the position patron Mrs Rawlings occupies in the history of Ghana politics.

He asked them to be focused in what they aim at achieving.
