NPP must win election 2016 to save Ghana – Wontumi

The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the opposition NPP, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, has said Ghanaians are no more interested in the Mahama-led NDC government to rule them.

According to him, pressure from the electorates to the NPP to win back power is overwhelming as such the party cannot afford to lose another presidential polls to the NDC.

Speaking on NEAT FM’s ‘Ghana Montie’, Chairman Wontumi as affectionately called in politics, stated categorically that, “the NPP has no choice than to win the 2016 elections. We have no choice.”

He added that – “the suffering must end. We [NPP] must save the people.”

His comments come after the Ashanti Region launched “Operation 90%” votes for the NPP in the region over the weekend.
