Woman commits suicide

Beposo (Ash), Sept 1, GNA – A 67-year-old farmer, Madam Adisa Amankwaah, on Sunday morning committed suicide by hanging herself at Beposo near Mampong in the Sekyere West District.

Chief Superintendent Kwaku Ayesu Opare-Addo, Mampong Divisional Police Commander, said an inmate of the house in which they both lived found Madam Amankwaah hanging in her kitchen.

Chief Superintendent Opare-Addo said there was the suspicion that the woman committed suicide out of frustration. He said the deceased once had a strong economic base but she went bankrupt.
