Nurses at the Wa regional Hospital in the Upper West region have called off their sit down strike.
The Staff of the facility were demanding the termination of the appointment of the newly elected medical director Dr. Anjali Ganda.
They claim Dr. Ganda refused an earlier posting to the facility when conditions there were challenging.
But the strike which halted activities at the hospital the whole of Monday has been called off after a dialogue with authorities at the facility.
