Vice President in Health walk in Koforidua

Mr. Kwesi Amissah Arthur, the Vice President, last Sunday morning joined all sector ministers and their deputies in a keep fit walk in Koforidua, Eastern Region, where they had gathered for a week-end retreat.

As they engaged in the brisk walk which started from the Capital View Hotel, near the Koforidua Polytechnic through some principal streets to the Jackson’s park on the Chocolate Day, other NDC party stalwarts and members joined them.

Later the NDC Parliamentary candidates for New Juaben South and North, Ransford Boakye and Haruna Apaw respectively joined them. Mr. Kwesi Okyere-Kussi also joined.

The group undertook a 15 minutes aerobic exercises at the Jackson’s Park, where they ended the walk.

Mr Amissah-Arthur thanked the party functionaries and the people of New Juaben for their support which made the exercise an exciting one.

The Vice President also led the group to donate cartons of chocolates, assorted biscuits, canned drinks and other confectioneries to the Koforidua School for the Deaf, to mark the occasion.

Receiving the items on behalf of the school, the Headmaster of the School, Mr Jordan Agnone, appealed for support for the construction of a girls and boys dormitories for the school
