First Annual Get Together of ZICO Aluta Group!

Members of the 1982 Alumni (Aluta Group) of Zion Secondary School Anloga, had their first annual get together in Accra recently. They used the occasion to honor one of its members, Professor Mark Mawutor Tettey (MB. ChB., FWCS, FGCS) .Professor Mark Tettey is a Cardiothoracic Surgeon and an Associate Professor at the University of Ghana School of Medicine and Dentistry. He has been a specialist and Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon at the National Cardiothoracic Center, Accra since 2002. He is currently engaged in undergraduate and postgraduate training of general Surgeons and post graduate training in Cardiothoracic surgery. He is a member of the following professional bodies;

•Ghana Medical and Dental Council,
•Ghana Medical Association,
•Fellow of West African College of Surgeons
•Fellow of Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons
•European Association of Cardiothoracic Surgeons
•World Society of Cardiothoracic Surgeons.

 
The chairman of the Aluta group is Mr. Jonathan Azasoo. Mr. Azasoo is a Principal Planner at the National Development Planning Commission (NDPC) , Ghana.

In attendance were the current Headmaster of the School,Mr. M.K.D Kukuia and members of the Aluta Group. John and Joseph Amaglo were the main sponsors of the event. The group has development plans in aid of their Alma Mata
