Our attention has been drawn to certain disparaging and unwholesome remarks on the person of ace broadcaster Afia Schwarzenegger by the Honorable Member Of Parliament for the Assin Central constituency and a leading member of the New Patriotic Party Hon Kennedy Agyapong on an Accra based radio station Oman Fm.
Leadership of the Coalition takes strong exceptions to and seriously abhors the use of foul and unwholesome language in our political discourse to the extent of making outbursts that seeks to denigrate womanhood.
We are by this release calling on Hon Kennedy Agyapong to retract his dishonorable remarks and render an unqualified apology to all WOMEN in Ghana within the next Ten (10) days or will have Ghanaian women especially those of Fante descend to contend with.
In the same vein, we call on the Flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party on whose ticket Honorable Kennedy Agyapong is in Parliament and seeks a return to the August House on same to immediately advance measures to openly dissociate Himself and the NPP from such disgraceful and livid comments within the giving time limit or members of the Coalition and all discerning minds alike will conclude Kennedy Agyapong enjoys the tacit support of leadership of his party hence his penchant and insatiable knack for making all these loose, vitriolic and unethical comments.
