180 pastors hold leaders conference

Apostle-General Emmanuel Astiko of the Power Mission Church International, has called for the development of a comprehensive policy, which would empower the youth to develop their talents.

He said everything possible should be done to enhance the welfare of the youth, who are the future leaders of the nation.

Apostle-General Astiko made the call during the church’s annual pastors’ leadership conference at Dzodze in the Volta Region.

About 200 pastors across the Ketu North District are attending the three-day event, on the theme: “Improving our leadership.”

It was aimed at sharpening the leadership skills of participants and to equip them with techniques to enable them to face challenges confronting their ministries.

Apostle-General Astiko asked politicians to rally behind the government, to ensure national development and advised them to do away with partisan politics that could negatively affect the country’s development.

He urged religious leaders to educate their members on government policies and programmes.
